Our day: We met at 11:30am on 3/13/99 (sat) as planed infront of Ruby Palace Restaurant in City of Industry. We all parked together and admired each others cars while introducing ourselves then had dim sum for lunch. After lunch we then admire our cars some more and be motorheads for about an hour outside the restaurant. The parking lot was packed with weekend crowd. Our section of the parking lot looked like a Mitsubishi dealership with all our 3000/stealths. We then cruised down to a local performance shop to check out accessories. We drove in a long single line and drew lots of attention; even the attention of a 3000GT driver in the on-comming traffic lanes. He must be thinking "where was my invitation!?" After checking out all the goodies we could buy for our cars we cruise again to SpeedZone. There fellow 3S owners battle it out in Top Eliminator, Slick Track, Formula, and Turbo Track. This was a great start for a S. Cal gathering. We were expecting 4-5 cars but 10 showed up. Future gathering are already in the planning and it includes: Import Showoff in Palmdale, a weekend at a road course, and a day of 125cc go- cart racing! George
