September 21-23, 2001. We had another great turnout for this years Charlotte Gathering, the second in what is sure to become a great annual event. Throughout the weekend, there were 30 cars that attended. Dinner Friday nite was followed by a little heat from the local rice boy squadron, and some cruising thru town. Saturday, we hung out by Independence Blvd, chatted, scoped the cars, etc. Headed over to Buffalo's for lunch. My car got attacked. Went for a little short-burst-spirited-driving (ahem-racing). Had an oops. Evening plans included hangin in hotel parking lot, Mexican food for dinner, some alcohol, Fast & The Furious at the dollar theater, and a cruise around town. Sunday we had an awesome cookout and series of tech sessions at Steve's house. Thanks Steve!!! I managed to get an active exhaust motor for my VR4 exhaust (now alls I need is a switch!), air filters were installed, plenums changed, rear ends changed, etc. A great afternoon.
